Dr. Wei Ji Ma and his team in the Department of Psychology at New York University invite you to participate in an experiment that tests your ability to memorize and then recall things in a short time.
The task will take approximately 60 minutes, and you will receive $8 if you complete the task. You will not be paid unless you complete the task.
You must be 18 years or older to participate. By clicking “ACCEPT” below, you indicate agreement to participate in this study, and declare that you are 18 years or older.
After the initial instructions, you will be asked to confirm your understanding of the instructions through some simple questions. You will be able to continue the task only when you answer these questions correctly.
Taking part in this study is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time. There are no known risks associated with your participation in this research. This research may help us understand how people make decisions.
Your participation will not be anonymous: we will collect your Amazon Worker ID so that we can pay you even if the internet has an unexpected connection issue during the experiment. We will not collect any other identifiable information. Your identifiable information will not be shared outside of the research team. Information not containing identifiers may be used in future research or shared with other researchers without your additional consent.
